At Tabby Town, we have a group of special cats who are in need of extra love and care. These cats may be timid, shy, or simply not used to human interaction. Some may not like to be picked up, some are afraid to seek attention, and some are just very independent. These cats we lovingly call our "cats in the back." We believe that there is a home out there for every cat and that with patience, love and understanding, these cats can become the most loyal and loving companions. They all deserve a chance to find their forever home. Please consider adopting one of these special cats. You may need to make more than one visit to get used to eachother, but by opening your heart and home to them, you will be giving them the chance to blossom and experience the warmth of a loving, forever home. The joy and gratitude you will receive from a cat who gradually learns to trust you is immeasurable.

Daphne

Daphne

  • Daphne (DOB approx 3/2019) Daphne was found in a colony and was rescued along with her kittens.
  • She is very friendly, likes to be pet and will sit in your lap.
  • Would love to go home with a cat friend from the room she is in but no dog friends for her!

Enot

  • Enot (DOB approx 3/2021) Enot is very wary of new people.
  • She was found outside under some stairs. Once comfortable she will accept pets.
  • She is very independent and it will take time for her to adjust.

Noelle

  • Noelle (DOB approx 8/2020) was rescued as a stray along with two kittens in 12/2020. She can be shy and is independent.
  • She is curious and watches what you do and eventually she may be receptive to a few pets.
  • She likes playing with toys, her wet food and enjoys the company of other cats. She will approach you for wet food and treats.

Lily

  • Lily (DOB approx 5/2017) was surrendered when her owner was moving. She is very independent but loves affection, observing her people and her surroundings.
  • Doesn't eat wet food but loves treats and will eat the occasional cracker. She can be chill but has a playful side especially for wand toys and laser pointers.
  • She tolerates other cats.

  • Missy (DOB approx 7/2016) Missy was found outside as an older kitten.
  • She can be skittish until comfortable. She will need time to adjust to any new situation.
  • Once she knows you she accepts attention.

  • (DOB approx 11/2023) Mopsy was bought in as a kitten along with her mother and brother, who have been adopted.
  • She is friendly, affectionate and playful. She would love to go home with another cat that she is familiar with.
  • She loves food.

  • Nutmeg (DOB approx 9/2020) Nutmeg was found as a stray.
  • She is going to need time to adjust to any new situation. She is wary of new people and she would benefit from being adopted with one of her cat friends.
  • Once comfortable, she is very sweet. Needs a calm and quiet home with someone who has patience.

  • Charcoal (DOB approx 6/2017) Charcoal was found with his sister Koal as kittens.
  • He can be nervous until he is comfortable.
  • Once he knows you he enjoys attention and is affectionate.

  • George can be shy until he knows you but once comfortable he is very friendly and loves to be pet.
  • He likes treats and wet food.

  • Gigi is very shy and timid. Loves to hide inside a cubby and will only come out if you are familiar to her and it's quiet.
  • She will need a home where she can be accepted for who she is and let her do her own thing.

  • Biscuit (DOB approx 6/12/2016) Biscuit was found outside when she was about 2 yrs old along with 2 kittens.
  • She is very independent and would prefer very little interaction with people. She may run if she feels you are too close to her.
  • Once she is comfortable with you she will let you approach but not touch.

  • Allie (DOB approx 4/2019) Allie was rescued as a kitten and taken into a home but the resident cat did not accept her.
  • She can be skittish and does not want to be touched but will come close to you for treats.
  • She is very sweet and needs a home with someone who will accept for who she is.

  • Markie (DOB approx 5/2022) was found along with his siblings when they were kittens. Markie would benefit from going home with one of his cat friends.
  • He may be shy until he is comfortable but once he knows you he is receptive to pets.
  • He is very curious and outgoing with familiar people. He will need time to adjust to any new surroundings.

  • Gracie (DOB approx 9/2018) Gracie was living in a hoarding situation but not with cats. Her home was crowded and she didn’t have a lot of room to move around.
  • She is very independent and knows what she wants. She does not like to be picked up and would prefer to come and see you when she wants attention and will let you know when she has had enough.
  • Can be super friendly and loves to rub up against you but on her own terms.

  • Peach (DOB approx 4/2021) Peach came to us from one our rescue partners along with 2 other cats.
  • She is very sweet and playful and loves attention. She would love to go home with a cat friend that she knows.
  • Give her some space and let her get comfortable and she will come right out of her shell.

  • Bella Boo (DOB approx 8/2020) Bella Boo was found outside as an older kitten.
  • She can be skittish, but once comfortable she loves attention and enjoys pets. She is playful and will rub against you.
  • She will need a cat friend who will enjoy snuggling with her and a calm home without dogs.

  • Koal (DOB approx 6/2018) Koal was rescued along with her brother Charcoal.
  • She can be hesitant at first but as you spend time with her she will come over to you and will let you pet her.
  • She would prefer you to not go over her head to be pet.

  • Wanda (DOB approx 5/2022) was found with her siblings when they were kittens. She would benefit from being adopted with another cat that she knows and is comfortable with.
  • She is uncomfortable with people she doesn’t know but once she is familiar with you, she does accept attention.
  • The way to her heart is through her stomach. She loves soft food.

Working with area shelters, Tabby Town was formed to increase cat adoptions in the Western New York community by bringing homeless cats and kittens closer to the public, in an uplifting setting. With over 50 - 65 cats and kittens at the adoption center at any given time, they are in cozy condo's just waiting to meet you.
